I saw the Oh K! pore strips on beautybay and since I am really into skincare and just these kind of products I really wanted to try it out. So of course I thought I would also share my thoughts to see if I like it or not. I have to be honest I didn’t really have high-expectations for this.
It’s a three step blackhead clearing nose pore strips which claims to de-clog, tighten, remove blackheads and other impurities. Fortunately I don’t suffer from blackheads, so I was mainly trying out the other claims.
1. Cleanse your face as usual, removing make-up. Apply step 1 on nose area for 15-20 minutes. Gently remove and massage in any residue.
2. Dampen nose area and remove transparent film. Apply step 2 with dry hands, on to the nose. Leave on for 20-30 minutes until mask is completely dry. Gently peel to remove.
3. Remove film from mask, and apply step 3 to nose area. Leave on for 10-15 minutes, gently remove and pat nose to absorb all residue.
The first step was a very wet gel like mask, it felt very nice and refreshing but I also felt like I couldn’t move my face too much or else the strip would move too, because it was so soft and gel like it was sitting on my face and not really clinging onto it.
Step 2 was a very dry mask. It said to take it off when the entire mask was fully dry, but it was never wet with me. I might have not dampened my nose enough, so that might have been my problem. This was literally like sticky tape on my nose, so I felt like this step was to remove blackheads, as they might get sucked out, so then this step wouldn’t necessarily do anything for me, but I wouldn’t know for sure.
This was again a very nice soft gel like feeling, it felt very hydrating.
So in the end as you can see, I don’t think these nose masks did anything for me. I was mainly using it for my pores, and I felt like most of the masks weren’t big enough to reach them, they only really covered my nose, and that is not my problem area. So, in my opinion and for me, no these Oh K! Nose pore strips don’t work.
