Blogs to follow in 2018

With 2017 coming to an end (jeeeeez, how many times am I going to mention that in blog posts?) and this being my very last blog post of the year (woah!) I wanted to spread the love and talk about all my favourite blogs of 2017. I only started blogging and reading blogs in July, so technically it’s not the whole of 2017, but still. Some of these blogs I discovered at the very beginning of my blogging journey and some a little later, but what they all have in common is that every time I see they have posted something new, I get so excited!

From Roses

From Roses talks about everything from lifestyle to fashion to beauty to self-care, and she writes it all up so beautifully. She’s a full time blogger, posts almost every day and I think she’s doing so well! Her website layout is seriously the cutest and her photography is amazing!

Favourite posts: ‘the difference a year can make; why I wanted to give up and why I didn’t‘, ‘cliche blogger reads: which ones are worth it?‘, ‘The makeup Brush buying guide

Bkyrouncefield’s blog is so versatile and always comes with the best tips and advice. I think her posts are so original as I don’t see many like them, and they are super helpful or just plain fun to read!

Favourite posts: ‘Why I’m fed up of lazy blogging‘, ‘How to survive a wobble‘, ‘Everything is better on a sunday

Bella Inizio

She was one of the first people I started following on wordpress and I haven’t looked back since. She writes mainly about beauty and fashion but also throws in some lifestyle posts here and there. I love her writing style and the effort she puts into her posts.

Favourite posts: ‘Christmas through the ages | why it’s better now‘, ‘why being a 21st century woman is hard

Lulu Loves

Lulu is again one of the first people I followed on wordpress when I just started blogging. Since then we have actually become online friends and I am so glad we did! We have collaborated twice during Christmas time, you can read her posts here and here, mine here and here. I especially love her monthly goals posts and her beauty posts but she also writes about fashion and other lifestyle topics!

Favourite posts: ‘Things I am 100% guilty of‘, ‘Charlotte Tilbury Collection‘ (so jealous of that collection)

Colours and Carousels

Charlotte describes her blog as a ‘Scottish life and personal style blog’ and I would 100% agree with that. She writes amazingly about so many different topics which you can see she is truly passionate about. She went freelance this year to focus on her own business which I think is so amazing. With content by Charlotte she can help you with anything from content, social and outreach.

Favourite posts: ‘Reflecting on 2017‘, ‘Defining success as a blogger‘, ‘On fitting in

Loulabellerose is a blog I don’t ever fail to read whenever she comes out with a new post. I’m normally not that much about fashion posts but I love reading hers! I definitely think she has great style (I really need to get that teddy bear coat she loves, it’s so fluffy I’m gonna die!) in both fashion and in writing. She also doesn’t only write about fashion, there’s also a lot of beauty, lifestyle and of course Christmassy posts around this time of year!

Favourite posts: ‘Inside my winter work wardrobe‘, ‘Sharing your blog online‘, ‘Why I love this time of year

Sophie Rosie

Sophie Rosie is a lifestyle blogger whom I think talks about such important topics, and of course some other maybe not so important but very fun topics! She’s going through a rough time now as she says in her post: ‘I’m neglecting the basics of self-care, but I just can’t snap myself out of it‘ and I really hope that she starts feeling better soon and I am so proud of the fact she’s still putting effort into her blog!

Favourite posts: ‘It’s okay to want to be successful, and it’s okay to do it your own way‘, ‘15 things I miss being a Northerner in London‘, ‘Figuring ‘me’ out | Who actually am I?

I also wanted to give some special mentions to some people I have been loving following on Instagram this year!

Sophie (Sophiemakeup) – Gemma Louise (gemellisx) – Faye (fridayfaye) – Coleen (cfeecup)
