February reflection

In comparison to January, February has flown by and it’s been colder than ever. Stepping on the bike anywhere was not the most pleasant thing, but then again there was quite a lot of sun which did warm up my whole flat. The month was a little uneventful in comparison to January but there have been a lot of amazing blog posts that I want to share with you.

This will be the last monthly round-up I do on this blog because from next week I am going to be doing them weekly! I thoroughly enjoy reading Kirsty’s 10 little things and Sofie’s 10 things I loved this week and it seemed so much fun to write so I’m joining the party! I don’t quite know how to call mine yet though, so if you have any suggestions, please throw them my way!

The month started off really good because I heard that I passed both subjects of the last term, which was a big relief because I did not feel like doing those again! That same week, my boyfriend and I made pizza at home and it was DELICIOUS! (like seriously, best pizza I ever ate). It was the first ever pizza I had with vegan cheese and I also put vegan salami on it and OH MY it was the most tasteful thing I ever did eat.

Then the 9th it was my sister’s birthday and I surprised her in Spain! My mum did tell her I was coming but she thought I was coming the next day, she was so surprised when she suddenly saw me walking into her room. I stayed till Monday and we spent the weekend going to the beach, playing ames and relaxing a bit. I took it as a little mini holiday and read almost the entire last book of Harry Potter.

The week after I got back it was pancake day and valentine’s day so my boyfriend and I joined the celebration into one day and made (and ate) pancakes on valentine’s day and it was amazing. Although note to self: make more pancakes next time.

I also went out to dinner with some uni friends which was really nice. I ate a pulled jackfruit sandwich which was just amazing! But I did get a really bad stomach ache after which stayed for the whole day (not so nice when your uni day doesn’t finish till 7), but I still don’t know if it was because of the pulled jackfruit or maybe something else? Plus me and a new friend I’ve made went to town to have lunch and have a catch up recently too. Again, I had the most amazing lunch, a poke bowl, which is basically a big bowl of rice with loads of toppings to choose from, and it’s amazing. And so much! I didn’t feel hungry till very late that evening.
