At the time of writing this I just went to primark and to be honest there weren’t as many things that I liked, not as many as I was expecting anyway. I saw this gorgeous embroided sleeve on Allie’s Instagram from a cardigan she said she got at primark. But when I tried it on I loved the pattern of the sleeve, but not the rest of it. Then I saw these gorgeous jeans with white embroidery (I have a thing for embroidery atm) but they didn’t have it in my size. So eventually I came out with 2 jackets, a reed diffuser and some sunglasses (which are totally out there and I love yet my boyfriends hates but I don’t really care haha).
Anyway, the point of this story is nothing really. I just wanted to tell you about my primark experience. Now onto the actual post!
I’ve probably said it about a bazzilion times already but I love, love, love reading other people’s blog posts. I am following so many people on bloglovin’ it’s unreal. But you don’t see me complaining, I would happily follow more and I am, all the time.
I recently came across quite a few new blogs, almost all at the same time actually. And I’ve been loving reading them so I thought I would share them with you all. Why keep all the fun to myself? (I mean, that’s a lie, because I’m pretty sure they already have a decent following and you might already know them, but I’ll tell you anyway).
I talked about some of my other favourite blogs at the end of last year, if you want to check that out you can go here. I still very much love those blogs and read them daily!
I had been following Abi on Instagram for a little while but never thought to follow her blog, I don’t know why it just never occurred to me. Then one day I saw one of her posts (or maybe her blog I can’t remember) mentioned in someone else’s blog post and I decided to take a look since I was already following her insta and love her imagery.
When I went onto her website I was happily surprised with lots of lifestyle, interior and planning content (I’m basically just copying her categories but they are ~obviously~ very spot on). She takes planning content and posts it with a twist. No endless ‘how to bullet journal’ posts (not that there’s anything wrong with that I’ve just seen it so much lately) but she talks about things others wouldn’t necessarily think of as quick.
Plus she is just so brutally honest (as are most bloggers I follow to be honest) and her writing is amazing. Even if I’m not interested in the topic I will keep reading just to learn and enjoy her writing style.
For the name alone you should just be following her. Jokes. But it is lovely, and you should be following her.
Michelle writes about fashion, lifestyle and travel. I love me a good fashion blog post and obviously lifestyle. She’s written some amazing pieces. Again, I love her writing style and imagery and I love her Sunday updates. I haven’t read much of her travel content yet but I’m excited for when she puts one out.
Plus she’s also a Harry Potter fan so what more could you ask for?
Short for Kelly Prince Writes. She mostly does lifestyle and travel, I do like her travel posts but I mostly love her lifestyle ones. They are so well thought of and put together that every time I see a new post by her pop up on my bloglovin’ feed I get excited.
Something a reader immediately looks at whilst looking at a blog is the images on it. At the same time if you do imagery right, you can be immediately recognised for it. I think Kelly has nailed it in the head with that one, as her photos are consistently beautiful and all edited the same way – which I’m completely in love with, please tell me your ways. So it’s super easy to recognise her by her photos which I think is amazing.
Chelsea is an interior and lifestyle blogger whose already taught me so much about interiors, and given me so many tips, whilst I’ve only been following her blog for like 2 weeks now. She doesn’t post super often, but that just means that her content is quality content and you really get something out of it.
In addition to her beautiful quality content her name and her logo are also super cute. Mint is my favourite colour so maybe I’m a little bit biased, but still. It’s the little things right?
Favourite posts: ‘Five lessons I’ve learned from decorating my first home‘ & ‘12 things that I loved about 2017‘
Chloe is ‘the sassiest petite fashion blogger you ever did meet’. At least that’s how she’s described herself on Instagram. I absolutely adore her sense of style and wish I could just have all her clothes in my wardrobe right about now. I love getting style inspiration from her as she just seems to make everything work.
Apart from her amazing fashion posts, she’s also great at lifestyle writing and making ‘pieces to think’ – which she has a category especially for, how bout’ dat (nope, will never do that again, my apologies). She truly does talk about some pieces to think about, subjects I don’t see a lot of other people taking on.
But if you’re not into that (why?) there’s also lots of other lifestyle and some interior content in there too. Plus she’s got a YouTube channel if you feel like checking that out also!
