As you may well know, I’m going to Hull in September to study abroad for a semester. I am beyond excited but also going to be drowning in paperwork I have to fill out. Although it’s not as bad as going to Australia, let me tell you that.
I am super excited to visit Hull and hopefully meet some other bloggers who also live in that neighbourhood. But since I’m going there I’m obviously not going to miss the opportunity of also visiting lots of other places in the United Kingdom
I am so glad I am going during the first semester as I will be in England during Christmas time which will be extra cosy, as we all know Christmas is the MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAAAARRRRRR (it’s a bit too early to get excited about Christmas isn’t it?)
Watching Zoella’s vlogs going there during Christmas has made me wish I was there also, especially during Christmas as everything looks so lovely and cosy. Since falling in love with it over Zoe’s vlogs I’ve seen it so many times more all over Instagram and I seriously can’t wait to visit this amazing Scottish city.
I hear it’s a city full of history, has amazing views and lots of nice places to eat. I am definitely planning on going there closer to Christmas time to experience all the nice markets and Christmas lights.
Again, a place I want to go to because of my favourite Youtuber brother and sister, Zoe and Joe. It looks like such a cute little town with amazing views. And let’s not forget the fact that some of Harry Potter was recorded there. As a massive Harry Potter fan it would be rude NOT to go.
I’ve also heard there is a garden centre close to there that goes all out on the Christmassy decorations, and I don’t only mean selling them. Leave it up to the White Hall Garden Centre to take you in the magical world of Harry Potter during Christmas time.
Brighton definitely looks like the place I would want to live if I ever moved to England. It’s cute, has some really fun things to do, it’s by the sea, what more could you want? It’s also close to London if need be.
So obviously Brighton has to be on my list of places to visit, although this particular place might be best to visit at the beginning of my semester so that it might be warm enough for me to have a stroll around the pier.
You didn’t think I would make a UK itinerary and not include the capitol right? I’ve visited London twice before but when I was significantly younger with my mum and stepdad ie. I definitely didn’t do everything or experience everything as I would now, as a 20 – will be 21 by the time I get there – year old.
As a lot of my favourite bloggers are form London I see the city a LOT through scrolling through my Instagram feed, something I enjoy very much. And you bet your ass I am going to be visiting all the “blogger cliche’s” when I visit, and hopefully try and get a few nice shots in front of the pretty doors. I am a blogger cliché, don’t come @ me.
Apart from that, Notting Hill (which I realise is part of the cliché I just mentioned but I also want to visit for another reason) which is because of the film with my favourite actress ever in, Julia Roberts! I have seen that film about a million times and it never gets old, I definitely want to find the famous blue door.
I’ll be honest the main reason I want to go to Birmingham is to visit my best blogging friend Emma from Lulu Loves! We’ve been talking for ages now and I definitely want to meet her and then whilst I’m at it let her show me around the beautiful city.
I have heard many great things about it, I hear it’s definitely an underrated city so I can’t wait to be surprised. This one I think I’ll also want to visit during September/October so that it’s not as cold and we can wonder around the city, taking in the views – and hopefully a little bit of sun – and enjoy each other’s company.
