Let’s have a little catch up

So.. Hello, welcome back, remember me? Long time no speak!

I’ve been gone for quite a while, the last time I spoke about how to define your style. The break was unintentionally but at the same time also intentionally I guess. I’ll explain…

So as you probably know my erasmus adventure started in the middle of September. Before I came here I was so sure I would be spending so much time on my blog since I was finally gonna be in the country where all the blog related things happen! That idea basically went down the drain from the very first week I was here, because guess what? I made friends! I know right? How magical! Well I made so many different friends and friend groups plus meeting online friends I’d made that I wanted to meet that I’ve basically been doing social things non-stop. My days, evenings and nights have basically consisted of day trips to different cities, a drag show, monopoly night, movie nights, lunches, dinners, weekend trips, inflatable theme parks, walks with beautiful views, fairs, quizzes, plus lets not forget about the pre-gaming nights where we eventually decide that’s gonna be the whole game for the night and vote against going out out to a club, and of course then the next day which I reserve to sit in bed watching movies and series with a hangover.

Let's have a little catch up

All in all, you could say I’ve had quite a few social things going on. Of course being on erasmus it also means that I actually have to put some effort into uni as well, so I’ve been writing up some assignments, reading some texts and preparing some presentations for my modules as well.

But the biggest news of them all is probably that I am starting a new project/business (can I call it that yet?). I am not going to give anything away about what it is yet since it’s release date is still quite far into the future, namely around the beginning of March (that might give you a clue of what it is about!). I’ve talked to my mum about this, we talked for about an hour on the phone, giving me ideas and me hastily writing everything down. I’m so glad she thought it was a good idea and since then (and before, we talked on the phone about 2 weeks ago) I’ve been very busy trying to write a lot of lists on what actually needs to be done and then getting those things done. I am quite bad at getting things done if I don’t have a near enough deadline up my ass so I’ve given myself mini deadlines which I hope I’ll make (as I said, social events are through the roof and I am not saying no to anything, since, y’know, experience of a lifetime going on here). But I definitely have a set date where I will be launching this whole project and that is a date that I know I will not want to miss. Sorry I can’t really tell you much in what it’s about yet but I hope you’re getting excited, even though it’s still so far in the future lol. I promise I’ll remind you nearer the time!

Let's have a little catch up

So that’s basically everything that’s been going on my life right now. I have to be honest, I have had the time to write up posts and publish them but I just haven’t had the energy or motivation to write up the post, proof-read it, take and add photos, do SEO, make it Pinterest ready, etc etc. Especially not since I’ve been so preoccupied with other things! And I’m not going to promise here and now that I will get better at posting because that’s probably not going to be the case, at least not until I get this project started up! But I promise I’m not going to abandon my blog forever, as I absolutely love it as my creative outlet and to talk about anything and everything that’s on my mind. It’s just on the back-burner for a bit and I’m also taking it a little bit less serious in terms of numbers. I’m hardly scheduling tweets to promote my posts (I hate scheduling and I’m not really publishing anyway) so my numbers are lower than ever but tbh I don’t really care. Right now my main focus is this new project that I want to put 100% of my work energy into. And when it’s launched I’ll probably use my blog as a creative outlet, without caring too much about the numbers and if anyone reads it, I’ll have somewhere else to worry about that then (just gave you another clue!).

So if you’re sticking around I would highly appreciate it. I really hope you’ll like whatever I’m launching in March and you’re excited too! If you want to keep up with me you can follow me on Instagram which I am more active on. Also twitter, although I’m less over there but I will pop my head in once and again.

Anyway, thanks for sticking around, I’ll see you next time!
